Currently, I have been looking at credible influences for creating a demo reel, I have been trying to identify different techniques and ways of constructing an appropriate show reel that identifies to my talent as a videographer similar to that of one of my main influences (Philipp Gatterer) is videographer and editor, I have been researching through the type of content he creates what he has then enlisted as part of his scissor reel specifically prodimantly he uses a range of differing projects and clips for specific projects he has worked on to identify he core skills in his videography work, additionally the key of using the transitional movement of footage helps to keep a toned pace to the project which makes for a more appropriate feeling in displaying his skills as both a videographer and editor.
Moreover, I have been influenced to try and be more practical in the footage I will be collecting for the result of my videographer show reel, I would like to show a more practical range in the footage I shall be collating, this will include showing my practicality of covering different events and displaying the footage in an informed and precise manner that meet the industry expectation of a videographer.
Henceforth I want to try and engage in using different equipment and different focal lens in types of experimental piece's consequently this will be because of the varying range of customer client work I would like to do, but additionally to allow me to adapt and extend my knowledge as a videographer.
