I have spoken with Micky Parsons who is currently working on a local production which will be filming in mid February, in the discussion I had with Micky I discussed about my wanting to get more involved in the duties of working behind the camera and shadowing the director as I have found that throughout the production practise module my skills are more target towards this area.
In speaking with Micky, I discussed about how I want to work on building my practical experience and learning as much about the practical senses of using the camera more affectively during a shooting production.
Moreover, Micky has suggested giving me a brief course about the idea's he has around the production and helping me to familiarise with the needs of the production crew, moreover he has sent me an animatic and script for me to review both are heavily along the lines of expectation I had visualised from the original script being sent through.
Moreover, I working on practise key detail skills and am keeping in regular contact in the run up to production taking place.
